This book written by CNN’s Chief White House Correspondent is a great inside look at what it has been like covering President Trump. The book starts during the time of the inauguration of President Trump and goes on up until during the lawsuit Acosta and CNN filed against the White House after they revoked his press credentials. What stood out to me about the book was during the times where he talked about all the threats he would receive when he’d be covering a Trump event and when the CNN headquarters received the bomb threats. Reading what he went through during that time and his fear was great to read because often times you don’t really get to understand and know what a journalist is going through. This was a tough time for him and others but he had to push through, it’s just part of the job but I’m glad we’re finally able to see what it was like because being a journalist is not an easy job, it can be dangerous, some places more than others.
